Probe: MET (7q31).
MET amplifications are detected in various tumor types, including NSCLC, and is associated with resistance to EGFR inhibitors and shorter survival. MET amplification may also occur following anti-EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor therapy indicating the development of resistance.

Specimen Requirements
Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded Tissue: Minimum 0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 cm tissue, non-decalcified tissue only

Ship specimen the same day whenever possible, with refrigerated (not frozen) cold pack.
