RET (10q11.2).
RET gene rearrangements are observed in a variety of tumor types, including NSCLC. RET gene rearrangements are typically mutually exclusive of EGFR, KRAS, ALK, and ROS1 mutations. FISH studies for RET gene rearrangements are intended for use as an aid in identifying patients eligible for tyrosine-kinase inhibitor and/or immunotherapy treatments.

Specimen Requirements
Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded Tissue: Minimum 0.2 x 0.2 x 0.2 cm tissue, non-decalcified tissue only

Ship specimen the same day whenever possible, with refrigerated (not frozen) cold pack.
