Dr. Caroline An joined CSI Laboratories in 2009 as Associate Director of Hematopathology. With more than 20 years of experience in morphologic and flow cytometric diagnostic skills in hematopathology to CSI Laboratories, Dr. An has been a key resource for consultations and diagnostics for our pathology and oncology clients.  Dr. An is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and hematopathology.

Dr. An completed fellowships in both surgical pathology and hematopathology at Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, Texas. Prior to CSI, she served as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.  During her 11 years of service to the university and regional oncology community, she became known as a leader in hematopathology instruction and diagnostics.

Dr. An has co-authored multiple publications and presentations on hematopoietic disorders. She earned her M.D. degree from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. An completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in  Los Angeles, California and at Scott & White Memorial Hospital. She is a longstanding member of the American Society of Clinical Pathology and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology.
