Ron GhafaryFounder & Chairman of the Board
Ron Ghafary - Founder & Chairman of the Board
Ron started his career in 1987 as a medical technologist in a national reference laboratory. His thirst for knowledge took him to the field of flow cytometry when this diagnostic tool was in its infancy.
It didn’t take Ron long to realize that cancer patient care was not best served by corporate medicine. It was then, in 1997, that he left the corporate environment, cashed out his life’s savings and started CSI Laboratories. His goal was to create a specialized cancer diagnostic center of excellence to better serve the cancer community and he continues to operate under that principle.
Since the company’s founding, there have been many changes in technology and cancer treatment, but as chairman of the board, Ron continues to make sure that one aspect of the company stays constant – CSI’s commitment to clients. He is dedicated to providing a superior client experience, exceptional quality lab results and quick turnaround. To accomplish this, CSI invests in an expert medical team, the right technology and equipment, and training – all with one thing in mind, to help clients provide personalized cancer care to patients whose treatment relies on accurate results. Ron’s passion for excellence in cancer patient care resonates throughout the entire CSI family, which he believes sets CSI apart from other laboratories.
